Little Sister’s Dream Invention (LSDI) was Markus & Rochus Aust, two brothers from Recklinghausen, Germany. Both were classically trained musicians, and they started LSDI with the help of their percussionist friend, Carsten Fabian. This single manifested sometime in their art school days.
Housed in a gatefold 7” sleeve, it contains one track that is pop magic, Way To France is kinda like a hyper Saint Etienne. The flip, 42, is a much more experimental digital computer industrial tune that’s got some lush horns over the top.
I received another CD from Rochus with a ‘90s LSDI release that was live jazzy plus spoken word all centered around different ways to cook fish.
